Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of ntloss.com (the "site"), which is owned and operated by New Trend Loss Adjusters Limited (RC 243793), 15, Olaribiro Street, Off Allen Road, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria ("NTLOSS", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the site is for

The site gives general information about NTLOSS, our loss adjusting and survey services, and insurance claims topics. It is not a channel for binding instructions: an appointment on a claim or survey is made by the instructing insurer, broker or insured and is governed by the terms of that engagement.

2. Not professional advice

Articles, case studies, reports and service descriptions are for general information only. They are not insurance, legal, financial or technical advice and should not be relied on as such. Case studies describe past claims in anonymised and simplified form; every claim turns on its own facts and policy wording. Take advice on your own circumstances before acting. Using the site or contacting us through it does not by itself create a client relationship.

3. Accuracy

We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current or free from error, and we may change or remove content at any time.

4. Intellectual property

The text, images, logos, design and other content on the site belong to NTLOSS or our licensors and are protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property law. You may view, print or share pages and download our published materials, such as our corporate profile and reports, for your own information or internal business use, provided you do not alter them and you credit NTLOSS. Any other copying, republication or commercial use needs our written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose;
  • send spam or unsolicited advertising through our forms;
  • introduce viruses or other harmful code;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or connected systems;
  • scrape or copy the site in bulk, or present its content as your own.

6. Information you send us

When you use our contact or newsletter forms, you confirm that the information you give is accurate and that you are entitled to share any details about other people that you include. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

7. Links to other websites

The site links to websites we do not control, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors or viruses. We may suspend or withdraw it, or restrict access, at any time.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, NTLOSS is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to compensate NTLOSS, its directors, employees and agents for any claims, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the site means you accept the current version.

13. Severability

If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@ntloss.com.
